Our appointment policy
A few simple things help your visit run smoothly. Here is what to expect around your first visit, cancellations, late arrivals, and children’s appointments.
What to bring to your first visit
- Arrive five minutes early to complete new patient paperwork
- Your Medicare card
- Your private health fund card
- Any relevant medical history, including current medications
Cancellations, late arrivals & children
We ask that patients give us as much notice as possible if they need to cancel or reschedule, as short-notice cancellations limit our ability to offer that time to another patient who may need care.
If you’re running late, please call us so we can adjust. Arriving significantly late may mean we can’t complete the full appointment in the time available; we’ll always do our best to see you.
For children’s appointments, please let us know if your child has had previous experiences that caused anxiety, and we’ll tailor the appointment accordingly. A familiar toy or comfort item is welcome.
Ready to book?
If something about the appointment worries you (cost, timing, how long you’ll be in the chair), ask us when you book.
